Taveesha Guyton
is a dedicated parent educator and social worker who values collaboration and strives to create genuine partnerships where everyone feels seen and heard. She is the author of “I Think I Might Need Therapy: Poems for Most of Life’s Ills,” a poetry book focused on mental health support. The book’s poems resonate with people from all walks of life and aim to assist those who have experienced trauma by providing resources and support. Taveesha Guyton holds a dual bachelor’s degree in psychology and social work and a Graduate Certificate in Infant Family Health from the University of South Taveesha. When she’s not working with parents and children, she enjoys spending time at Barnes and Noble, engaging in meaningful
conversations with strangers, as she lives by the motto, “I’ve never met a stranger.”
